The short answer
A new TikTok for Business advertiser who spends a threshold amount within 30 days of registering an ad account gets that same amount back as ad credit. There are five brackets, $200, $500, $1,000, $4,000 and $6,000, every one of them a straight 1:1 match, and the credit is applied roughly one to seven days after the 30-day period ends. Korea is an eligible region. It is ad credit, usable only on TikTok ads, not a cash rebate.
What each spend bracket returns
The left column is what you have to spend within 30 days of registering, the middle is the ad credit that comes back, the right is when it lands. All five brackets are a straight 1:1 match. Only one applies, the highest one you actually reach. They do not stack.
| Spend within 30 days | Ad credit back | When it lands |
|---|---|---|
| $200 | $200 | About 1 to 7 days after the 30-day period ends |
| $500 | $500 | About 1 to 7 days after the 30-day period ends |
| $1,000 | $1,000 | About 1 to 7 days after the 30-day period ends |
| $4,000 | $4,000 | About 1 to 7 days after the 30-day period ends |
| $6,000 | $6,000 | Brought forward once the top bracket is reachedTop bracket |
Those five brackets are the whole ladder, and every one of them returns exactly what was spent. There is no $10,000 bracket in this programme. Credit is issued in the currency of the country the ad account is registered in, and the account has to be registered in the region the advertiser actually operates in. Korea is on the eligible region list, along with Vietnam, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Australia among others. TikTok can change the promotion, so what the signup screen shows at the time of registration is what governs.

How to claim the TikTok ad credit
Half an hour to open the account, an hour to get the first campaign live. What matters is not the order of the steps but the clock: the 30 days run from the day you register, not from the day your first ad goes live.
Create the TikTok Business account
Use the button above to reach the TikTok for Business signup and open an account with an email address or a phone number. Pick the country you will genuinely advertise and bill from. Credit is issued in that country currency, and changing the country afterwards is not simple.
Add your business details and get verified
Business registration details, a website or sales channel, and a contact. Review can take a day or two, so it is worth finishing before you build the campaign. The 30-day clock does not wait for the review to clear.
Add a payment method
Register a card. You will choose between automatic billing and manual top-ups; if you are working towards a threshold, pick whichever lets you see accumulated spend most easily. Adding the card alone charges nothing.
Build the first campaign
Choose an objective, set targeting and budget, upload creative. Vertical video works far better than a static image on TikTok. If you already have product footage or review clips, that is enough to start the first week with.
Reach the threshold inside the 30 days
The spend has to actually clear within 30 days of registration. A daily budget set too low will not get you over the line even if you run the full month. Divide your target by the days you have left and set the daily budget from that, before you start.
Check the credit and use it
If you qualify, the ad credit shows up in the billing screen of TikTok Ads Manager. Credit carries an expiry date, so check it the moment it arrives and plan the campaigns that will spend it before then.
Who qualifies, and what this is not
The promotion exists to bring in new advertisers, and the conditions are built around that. Everything below is what TikTok states in its own terms and help centre.
- New advertisers only
- An account that has already run ads is out, and accounts TikTok judges to be highly similar to an existing or previously active advertiser can be excluded too.
- Once per advertiser
- The offer is single use. A new ad account created under a TikTok for Business or Business Center account that has already received the coupon does not qualify again.
- The 30 days start at registration
- The window runs from the registration date, not from your first ad. Register on 6 March and it closes on 5 April. Spend two weeks on setup and you have two weeks left to spend in.
- Ad credit, not cash
- What comes back is credit usable only on TikTok advertising. It cannot be withdrawn, it cannot be transferred to another account, and it expires.
- One bracket only, no stacking
- Only the highest bracket you actually reach is applied. You cannot collect the $1,000 bracket and then spend on to stack another one on top of it.
- Register in your own region
- The ad account has to be registered in the region you actually operate in, and credit is issued in that country currency. Korea is on the eligible region list. Credit cannot be used in territories under trade control restrictions.
- Not transferable
- The offer is valid only for the original recipient. You cannot forward the link or the code for somebody else to redeem.
Take the credit. You do not have to run it yourself
This is where a coupon page stops and this one does not. SELLi does not just point at the offer; we plan and run TikTok campaigns. Claim the credit and run it yourself, or spend the first 30 days with us.
- Official TikTok strategic partnerShop setup and operation, paid media and live selling, all run under official partner status.
- Starbucks Vietnam on TikTok LiveWe sold Starbucks Vietnam merchandise on TikTok Live. Planning the broadcast, running it and seeding KOCs were all in-house. The case study is here.
- Korea, Vietnam and AustraliaIncheon head office plus Ho Chi Minh City and Sydney, running local accounts with local creators.
- Ads and selling in one teamThe campaign does not end at the click. The same team handles TikTok Shop listings, live commerce and fulfilment.
Doing it yourself is a perfectly good answer. Open the account, start the 30 days, and follow the steps above.
If you would rather not burn the first 30 days learning what works, we will set the creative, the split and the daily budget with you. We take TikTok media enquiries.
Talk to us about running itFrequently asked
- Where do I get the TikTok ads coupon?
- There is no code to paste in. Register with TikTok for Business as a new advertiser and the promotion attaches to the account automatically; spend the threshold within 30 days of registering and the matching ad credit is issued. The button at the top of this page goes to that signup.
- When does the TikTok ad credit arrive?
- TikTok states that credit is applied to the ad account roughly one to seven days after the 30-day promotion period ends, or after the highest bracket is reached. Hitting the top bracket can bring the payment forward rather than waiting for the window to close.
- Does this mean TikTok ads are free?
- No. You spend the threshold with your own money first, and the same amount comes back as credit. In practice it doubles the first month budget. It is not free advertising with nothing spent.
- How long does creating a TikTok Business account take?
- Opening the account takes about ten minutes, but business verification can take a day or two. Since the 30 days run from registration, it pays to clear verification and have creative ready before you start spending.
- Is the offer available in Korea?
- Yes. Korea is on the eligible region list, along with Vietnam, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Australia among others. The condition is that the ad account is registered in the region you actually operate in, and the credit is issued in that country currency. TikTok can change the promotion, so read the offer shown on the signup screen as well.
- Can I stack more than one bracket?
- No. One bracket applies, the highest of the five you actually reach. Spending $1,000 for a $1,000 credit and then spending on to $4,000 does not add a second credit on top. Decide the bracket you are aiming at before you start and set the daily budget from it.
- Can the credit be withdrawn as cash?
- No. Ad credit can only be spent on TikTok advertising. It cannot be withdrawn and it cannot be transferred to another account. It also expires, so check the expiry the moment it lands and plan the spend around it.
- Can SELLi run the campaigns for me?
- Yes. SELLi is an official TikTok strategic partner and runs TikTok Shop operations, paid media and live commerce directly. You can take the credit into your own account and hand over only the running of it.
- Why is the link on this page a partner link?
- Because SELLi is a member of the TikTok for Business Affiliate Program. If you sign up through it and run ads, SELLi may earn a commission from TikTok. It costs you nothing extra and the credit terms are identical. We have a relationship, so we say so, in the first screen of the page rather than the footer.
