SBS Korea TV advertising cost and 15-second rates

Where PPL puts a brand inside a programme, this page is about the plain 15-second spot that runs around and inside it. The SBS Cre@m rate card publishes a pre/post-break (전후CM) and a mid-break (중CM) 15-second rate for every programme, and the table below is every rated programme on the October 2026 issue, vol. 178.

In one paragraph

On the SBS Cre@m October 2026 issue, vol. 178, a pre/post-break 15-second spot runs KRW 3M to KRW 15M per programme, and a mid-break 15-second spot runs KRW 6M to KRW 30M. 23 of this issue's 24 programmes carry a published 15-second rate.

Ad types: pre/post-break, mid-break, package, band

Pre/post-break (전후CM)
The spot immediately before a programme starts and immediately after it ends — the most basic broadcast ad slot.
Mid-break (중CM)
A spot inserted during the programme rather than around it, in the window where the viewer has not yet left the channel — the lowest-churn slot on the card. A "band" is how many mid-breaks run within one episode.
Programme package
A base rate sold as a bundle for the whole programme, rather than buying individual slots one at a time.
Band
How many times the mid-break interrupts a single episode. More bands means more mid-break exposures per episode.

These four terms are the same definitions SELLi already uses on PPL & ad rates by programme.

15-second rates by programme (October 2026)

Every one of the 23 programmes with a published 15-second rate on the October 2026 issue (24 programmes in total). 2 of them (Nagoya Galgoya (나고야 2026 특집 나고야 갈고야 (가제)), Drama Yeneung Special (드라마/예능 스페셜)) are specials or provisional titles and sit at the bottom of the table. One title (Golden Time In Cctv (골든타임 in CCTV)) is left out — that means no rate is published this issue, not that advertising is unavailable.

Working out a monthly budget: an example

Monthly budget is rate × number of airings. For example, running a pre/post-break 15-second spot on Running Man (런닝맨) (Sunday, KRW 12M) four times a month:

FAQ

What is the SBS TV advertising rate?
On the October 2026 issue, a pre/post-break 15-second spot runs KRW 3M–15M per programme, and a mid-break spot runs KRW 6M–30M. Exact figures by programme are in the table above.
Which is more expensive, pre/post-break or mid-break?
Mid-break. On the October 2026 issue every one of the 23 rated programmes prices mid-break at exactly 2× the pre/post-break rate. It sits in the window where the viewer has not left the channel.
How do I work out a monthly budget?
Rate × number of airings per month. A worked example is in the "Working out a monthly budget" section above.
Is creative production billed separately?
SBS M&C does not publish a production-cost figure, so none appears on this page. Ask and we will confirm.
Should I choose PPL or a plain TV spot?
If the brand needs to appear inside the programme, see PPL cost. If a clear ad message in the break is enough, this page's pre/post-break and mid-break rates apply.
Can I advertise on any SBS programme?
23 of this issue's 24 programmes carry a published rate. The remaining one (Golden Time In Cctv (골든타임 in CCTV)) simply has no rate on this issue — ask about a specific title and we will check.
