TikTok Shop Vietnam registration, step by step

Fee structure: three charges, not one

TikTok Shop Vietnam's Seller Center publishes not one seller fee but three that stack. The figures below come straight from TikTok's own Seller University pages.

Registration paths: what is actually confirmed

TikTok Shop Vietnam supports both sellers with a Vietnamese business registration and cross-border sellers. The official fee page, however, does not differentiate between the two — the same fee structure applies to both, which means the fee schedule itself is not what varies by registration path.

Cosmetics need product notification first

Selling cosmetics on TikTok Shop Vietnam requires completing Vietnam's cosmetic product notification (công bố) process first, separately from shop registration. The full sequence is on What entering Vietnam takes, step by step.

FAQ

Does registering for TikTok Shop Vietnam cost anything?
The official Seller Center states no registration or setup fee. Fees only apply once orders happen: the Platform Commission Fee, the Transaction Fee and the Order Processing Fee.
What exactly is the seller fee?
As of March 2026, Marketplace sellers pay 2.00%–16.00% by category (default 14.00%); Mall sellers pay 1.50%–19.80% (default 16.00%). It varies by the exact product category being sold.
Is the transaction fee different from the commission fee?
Yes. On top of the category-based commission, every successfully paid order carries a 6.00% transaction fee, plus a flat VND 3,000 order processing fee per delivered order.
Can I sell cross-border without a Vietnamese entity?
Yes, but which categories are eligible and what documents are required are not stated on the official fee pages, so this page does not list them. Tell us the category you want to sell and we will confirm.
Can I sell cosmetics right away?
No. Cosmetic product notification (công bố) has to be completed before selling on TikTok Shop. The process is on What entering Vietnam takes, step by step.
